Physique 57
I’m going to NYC next weekend and I really want to take a Physique 57 class. I heard Kelly Ripa raving about it and now I want to know what it’s all about. The 57th St. studio is not too far from where I’m staying so I might check it out when I go up there. An hour long class is $35. I wish I had a gay boyfriend to come with me!
My exercise regiment is going well. I ran 2 miles in 25 minutes most recently. My weigh-in last night at the gym was 121.00 before my workout and 120.4 afterwards. My home scale reads 117-ish. The lowest I ever weighed on the gym scale was 117.0 (that I remember). Slowly but surely!
Brother From Another Planet
My favorite XM Radio program is Zoltar Subterranean which aired on weekend afternoons on channel 82 (now 80). But Zoltar hasn’t been on since Sirius and XM integrated their programming. He deejays trance music and it’s so good. I miss it! Luckily I found his playlist and podcast online! I wish I could blast this music in the gym!
Movies
Scumdog Millionhairs! haha (aka Rod Blagojevich) I saw the movie last weekend and it was the BEST PICTURE hands down. Definitely a must see. The slum kids reminded me of the movie Tsotsi. Everything about it was great and I loved the music in it too. I still have to see Revolutionary Road and The Reader.
Other movies I’ve seen recently: The U.S. vs. John Lennon (good), Balls Out (horrendous, very raunchy, don’t watch it), and Burn After Reading (Coen brothers movie based in DC, what happens when idiots try to be gangsters).
